Dear Friends and Supporters,
ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY
On October 26th, we celebrated the church’s 20th anniversary. It went very well and was a tremendous success. The spirit in the church was great. The people worked hard. We are very proud of them. I asked every woman over 20 years of age to bring a cake. At first things looked kind of grim as a lady went around finding out who could bring a cake. The last count we had was 20 cakes, and we had calculated that we needed about 30 since we were planning on having around 500 people. But to our surprise, a total of 45 cakes showed up on the big day. Everyone was able to have cake, with cake to spare! There were over 583 people present, so I swallowed a goldfish because I had promised to do so if we reached 500. We had 17 first-time visitors, and 12 people were saved. Praise the Lord!
Just after I swallowed a gold fish!!
NEW ADDITION

We have been surprised and excited about a new little one becoming part of our family. So far, everything is going well. We have been told it is going to be a girl, so we are thinking about the possibility of naming her Johanna, which means “God is gracious.” He has been gracious in bringing another little one into our family after the loss of the last one two years ago. Lord willing, she should be making her appearance around the 19th of March. The whole family is very excited. We would appreciate your prayers that everything will continue to go well.
ALL-NIGHT PRAYER MEETING
I announced to the church people the need for an all-night prayer meeting. We needed to pray for God’s power upon our lives, and we needed to pray for the bus routes of the church. We didn’t know for sure how many men would show up. To our surprise, over 30 men showed up! A total of 28 stayed all night to pray. The men had a good spirit and took turns praying. A spirit of revival was among us. The men were encouraged, challenged to walk closer to the Lord, and motivated to see their bus routes grow. We praise the Lord for the men of Bethel Baptist Church.
THANK YOU
Thank you for your prayers and support which enable us to continue working here in Argentina. By faith we must go forward in reaching Argentina for Christ. Please continue to pray that the work will grow and that more souls will be saved. We wish you and your family a Happy New Year!
