Radio Station 

          Just a few months back I sent a note out about the need for $16,000 dollars for the purchase of a Radio Station.  Praise the Lord!!   So far $15,000 came in for this need.   So we basically have enough funds to purchase the equipment and put up the tower.   Pastor Larry Owens and the church are excited about going on the air and preaching the Gospel to the entire city of San Miguel de Tucuman of over 600,000 people!!

            The only thing we lack is the license or permission to go on the air.   The government agency here that regulates the Radio Stations is not giving out any new licenses or permits.    Our only option is to purchase a license that is for sale from another station.    We have found many other stations willing to sell us a permit – but the lowest permit that we have found is $20,000 dollars.   We are praying about what to do and seeking the Lord’s direction!!  Thank you for your prayers!!

   Evangelistic Campaign in Graneros

            On the 14^th of December we went to the city of Graneros for three full days of Soul-winning.   We held an evangelistic campaign each evening!!  On the 14^th we went with 5 preacher boys and two couples.   It took 3 hours to get to Graneros (120 kilometers) after taking a bus and renting a van.   At 2pm we arrived and started to knock on all the doors of the city.  Population is approximately 3,000 people.  The city is 95 percent Roman Catholic.   That night at 8pm is started to rain and since the roof of the church leaks all over we had a time keeping the sound equipment dry and the benches.  After 20 minutes of rain and getting all wet it stopped raining.  Praise the Lord for neighbors that gave us plastic and a piece of tin roof to help us stay dry.   This first night of the campaign we had 63 show up.  Mainly children.  Pastor Carlos Gannin led the singing and taught the children some new songs.   During the invitation 23 responded to a simple plan of Salvation message.   At night we stayed in a Motel in the city of Alberdi and was able to get some good rest.  

The next morning we arrived in Graneros at 10am and started knocking on doors all over the city.   We were able to knock on every door once during the three days.   It was a hot day with temperature of over 95’F but we kept going all day in order to see more fruit for our labor.   That night God blessed with 85 in attendance and 34 were saved during the invitation.    Praise the Lord!!

The next day we finished passing out 1,500 flyers and 1,000 gospel tracts (Fellowship Tract League) that we brought with us.   We also passed out John and Romans (Bible and Missionary Foundation) and complete Bibles (BEAMS) to new converts.   On the last night we had 115 in attendance!!   Pastor Carlos Gannin preached and 28 were saved during the invitation.   Praise the Lord!!  This new church has lots of needs.  The most urgent need is to put a new roof on the church building.  Please pray!!

We would like to thank you our supporters for your faithful financial support that enabled us to do this campaign.  Your support paid for the bus fares, van rental, food, rental of PA equipment, purchase of wood for benches, and the Motel bill!!  Praise the Lord for you our supporters!!

Need for a 15 passenger Van

for Church work and Personal Use

A need that we have is to purchase a passenger van in order to avoid the high cost of van rental.   We personally do not have a vehicle.   The van that we used in the past has been broken down for the last 9 months.   Our plan is to repair our old van and put it up for sale immediately and use the funds for a purchase of a new van.

A nice new 15 passenger van will cost $44 thousand dollars.  Our plan is to purchase a passenger van and use it for our family use and for ministry use every day!!

A passenger Van will be very practical and a tremendous boasts to the work of church planting.  We currently get around by walking, bicycle, Taxi, public bus, or rent a Van in order to get the work done.
