Our little Rose was born
March 14, 2009
At 1:29 pm Central Time
She arrived weighing approx.
7 lbs. 12 oz.
And measured
19 inches long.
Her official name is Rossana Jane George
We call her Rose or Rosita in Spanish.
She is our little Rose of grace (Rosita)
Sent from Heaven to remind us that
Jehovah is gracious.
Rose was born at home
In Tucuman, Argentina
With just Mother and Daddy to welcome her.
Comments from her siblings (March 16, 2009):
Benjamin - “She’s cute. I like when she is awake and looks at me with those big eyes, and smiles at me. It is hard to believe I have another sister. I really enjoy her. I think she is a precious little thing. I enjoy holding her. I like her now while she is little; I don’t know what I will think of her when she is older. I think she likes me.”
Samuel - “She’s cute. I think it is fascinating that she is so little. I like to play with her when she is awake. I am happy that I have another little sister even though it is hard to believe. Pretty soon she will grow up.”
Ezekiel - “I like holding her. I like it when she is awake. I like to play with her when she is awake. I like it when she cries - she cries like a girl.”
Elizabeth - “I have fun with my sister. I love her. I like it when she is awake. I am glad she came out of Mommy’s tummy. I like seeing her sleep too. I am glad she cries just a little bit. I also like listening to her when she ‘talks’.”
We thank the Lord for His goodness in sending us this bundle of joy. It is so hard for us to believe God has blessed our home with a little one. Please pray with us that we would raise her to love the Lord and that she will give her heart to Him at a young tender age. Thanks so much to all of you who have been praying for us throughout the pregnancy.
May the Lord richly bless each and every one of you.
