You can have a part in planting a New Testament local church in Belen, Catamarca! God has led us to plant another Bible preaching church in an area that is void of truth.
During the weekend of August 29-31 and September 1-2 we will be starting a new church in Belen, Catamarca(3,600 feet above see level). This city is 9 hours away from us, up and over three mountain ranges of the Andes Mountains. The city of Belen has a population of 28,000 thousand people. It is strongly Roman Catholic.
The Pablo Diaz is a graduate of our Bible College. He is planning on moving his family to Belen, Catamarca this month. His plan is to purchase some property and build a house for his family. Bro. Diaz will be the pastor of this new church.
They are looking for a place to locate the new church. So far they found a room that will seat 30 people that they can us rent free.
We will make the starting of this new church into a big city wide event. Evangelist James Belisle from Washington, IA will be here to do the preaching and teaching during the day and evening. We are working on lining up a large building to hold the crowds that will come for the evening services. Our plan is to go with 20 soul-winners from our Bible College to work during this Evangelistic Campaign. We also plan to promote the meeting on the local radio stations, TV, and open air speakers attacked to vehicles that move all over the city. During this event we will be going door to door soul-winning and passing out thousands of Gospel Tracts.
Different needs that we have in order to start this new church. Let me give you a list of some needs:
1.) Discipleship Lessons. 2.) Funds for the rental of a P.A. system 3.) Food to feed the 20 soul-winners that will be helping during the 5 day campaign. 4.) Transportation cost to move the soul-winners from Tucuman to Belen - Catamarca a distance of 9 hours. 5.) Bibles for the new converts. This is a few of the many needs that we will have for this campaign.
