Additional Ministry Update

Dear Friends and Supporters:
We want to thank and praise the Lord for His help and guidance as we have been looking for a place to move. We desperately need to move from our present location, as the rent is continually going up and is now at a point where it consumes too much of our support. For the past week, we have been going out every day looking for some land we could buy to build our house on. This past week the Lord directed us to a man who has some property he is dividing up and selling. This property is close to our church and in a good neighborhood. It is 23,241 square feet on high land. The average cost of land in this area at this size would be US$73,000. We have befriended the owner, and he is willing to sell it to us for US$25,356.58. He is giving us 90 days to come up with the money.
This land can serve multiple purposes:
Our House
We have been on the mission field for the past 15 years. We have rented a house in each location that we have served. We have come to the point where we would like to go ahead and purchase land and build a house. Owning our own house would help us establish ourselves and put our roots down deeper in Argentina.
We have an architect friend we trust who is willing to build a house on the land that we purchase. Our desire is to build a 1,500-square-foot house. It will cost US$52 per square foot to build this house. This would be a total of US$78,000 to build the house. If I can get a loan for this amount, the architect can build the house in six months. Please pray that we can get a loan to build.
Prophet’s Chamber
Another purpose for this land would be to build a place for guest preachers to stay while they are at our church helping us with our Bible college or other ministries. Since we have a Bible college, we have a lot of guest preachers who come in to teach. We average one guest preacher every two weeks. We need a place to house these guest speakers. We have plenty of room on this property to build a building to house the pastors and missionaries coming to help us with the Bible college. Our plan is to build an additional 1,500-square-foot building. This building would be first-class and be able to house two guest preachers at the same time with individual rooms and bathrooms and a mini kitchen. The prophet’s chamber would have a fully furnished kitchen, hot water, heat for the winter time, air conditioning for the summer time, internet, and all the modern conveniences so all would feel comfortable. We would also include in the building a mini-apartment for an individual to come and help in the work on a short-term basis. This building would also house my office and library of books. It would also have a large temporary storage area for Gospel tracts, Spanish Bibles, and Christian literature. I’m not planning to get a loan to build this building. It would be built as the funds come in designated for this project.
Sr. Camacho has an additional two blocks of land (128,091 square feet) right next to the land for the radio that he would be willing to sell to us as well. It could be used to house the Bible college, housing for college families, a Christian school, and a reformation center for those struggling with addiction.
This land could be used to further the cause of Christ. We just need for you to partner with us in prayer that the necessary funds will come in. We long to expand the Lord’s work so more souls will be saved. We must do something, or many will never hear that could hear. Will you allow God to use you to be a part of this wonderful opportunity?
